Prior to the start of Monday’s RAW show in Little Rock, Arkansas, Becky Lynch announced on Twitter that she would not be making an appearance on the show.
Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that the reason for Lynch’s absence was due to her currently dealing with a minor foot injury that has been exacerbated recently.
It was also reported that they had asked those within WWE if Lynch changing her Twitter handle to her real name and dropping her verification badge had anything to do with her contract status in the company. Those spoken to reportedly stated that Lynch’s contract is currently not set to expire until June 2024. It was reported that Lynch nor WWE have yet to enter negotiations for a potential new contract.
It was also reported that besides Lynch, several other notable talents have their contracts expiring in 2024 as well.
