Heated Backstage Argument Incident Reportedly Took Place at Monday’s WWE RAW Show

PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that his sources stated that a heated argument incident took place backstage at Monday’s WWE RAW show in Buffalo, New York.

Johnson reported that this incident took place backstage following the main event six-man tag team match of The Judgement Day vs. Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, & Seth Rollins.

In regards to the cause of the incident, Johnson reported that those spoken to stated that the main issue revolved around how the match went down with some spots that did not go as initially planned and were “clunky” in execution. Two people spoken to reportedly blamed the issue on how the original plans for the match were changed “at the last literal second” while another person spoken to put the blame on one specific talent in the match. In regards to the identity of this talent, this same source reportedly stated that they did not want to reveal this person’s name to “not make the Internet go insane.”

Johnson reported that after everyone involved in the match had returned to the Gorilla Position backstage, a heated argument broke out over frustrations with the performance of the match. Johnson reported that this argument was stated to never be in danger of getting into an actual physical fight.

Johnson reported that while things eventually petered out, many people involved were not happy with the situation.

Johnson reported that those spoken to stated that Monday’s show was just “one of those nights” where things just did not click and emotions ran high because there were so many people involved who care about their jobs and performances.
