Former WWE wrestler Mantaur, real name Mike Halac, passed away on Tuesday at the age of 55.
Halac’s passing was first announced by his daughter on Twitter who stated that Halac had passed away peacefully in his sleep.

Halac’s career spanned from 1991 to 2001 and 2005 to 2019 and included notable stints in Catch Wrestling Association, WWE, and United States Wrestling Association. Halac was most known for his Mantaur character in WWE, which was him dressed up as a mythological Minotaur. Outside of WWE, Halac was most known under the ring name of Bruiser Mastino.
Halac’s career accolades included winning being a one time USWA Unified World Heavyweight Champion, one time CWA World Tag Team Champion, and winner of the 1992 CWA Catch Cup tournament.
