NJPW Announced Fighting Spirit Unleashed 2023 Event for Las Vegas This October

New Japan Pro Wrestling recently announced that this year’s Fighting Spirit Unleashed event will be taking place on October 28th at Sam Town’s in Las Vegas, Nevada.

It was also announced that tickets for this upcoming event will officially go on sale starting on July 18th.

Scott D’Amore Comments on Impact Having Upcoming Announcement for Their European Market

Impact Wrestling held a press conference on Tuesday to promote this Saturday’s Slammiversary 2023 event in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. Among the guests included Impact President Scott D’Amore.

One of the topics discussed included D’Amore revealing that Impact will be making a big announcement soon regarding their European market.

“I think the UK is on fire. I spent part of the mid-90s in Europe. My first overseas tour was in Hamburg. I spent time in England, Ireland, Wales, and the scene was very depressed at the time, with the exception of the WWE tours that would come through here and there. There just wasn’t a lot. We’ve seen such a growth in the market over there, and I think that you saw a bit of a dip in some of the stuff when NXT UK opened because I think they took a lot of the talent, and they really depleted the scene. But I think what you saw, which happens so much in wrestling, is others had an opportunity to step up and show out, and they’ve done that.
Whether it’s Slammiversary or whatever the events are, I think UK fans are great at showing their support. I think European fans, I’ve competed in Switzerland, Germany, it’s a great scene over there, and I think wrestling fans have really become quite educated to what we do. One of the things that I always noted was their passion. They’re always so loud and so vibrant. It’s like watching a soccer game with the level of energy that you get over there, and I think you’ll hear some exciting stuff coming real, real soon when it comes from IMPACT Wrestling when it comes to the Euro market.”

New Japan Pro Wrestling recently announced that a new documentary film based on former NJPW owner and wrestling legend Antonio Inoki will be released in select theaters on October 6th in Japan.

Game Changer Wrestling recently announced that Jeff Hardy will be making his official debut for the company at their My Name Is event on August 4th in Detroit, Michigan.

GCW also recently announced that Ninja Mack will be making an appearance for the company at their GCW Homecoming 2023 events on August 19-20 in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

In a recent interview with The Undisputed Podcast with Bobby Fish podcast, NWA talent Trevor Murdoch stated that he was recently interviewed by Dark Side of the Ring series producers for a future episode based on wrestling legend Harley Race. Murdoch stated “I might be a part of a reality show coming up soon. I don’t wanna, you know, throw out too much. Gotta get a little signature, waiting for a little signature, you know? But, also, I did do an interview for Dark Side of the Ring for Harley (Race) a couple weeks ago. So next year if things go right, there should be an episode of Dark Side of the Ring on Harley.
