Bryan Danielson has been out of action for AEW since this past June due to a fractured forearm injury. Jamie Hayter has also been out of action since this past May due to a shoulder-related injury. Thunder Rosa has also been out of action since this past September due to a spinal-related injury.
Dave Meltzer reported in this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter that his sources provided several updates regarding Danielson, Hayter, and Rosa’s injuries.
In regards to Danielson, Meltzer reported that Danielson had underwent surgery on July 3rd and the current timetable is around three months for his return. Meltzer reported that Danielson will not be able to return in time for AEW’s All In or All Out 2023 later this month and is doubtful for this September’s Grand Slam 2023 show but he should be able to return by this October. Meltzer reported that the best Danielson could is probably return a week or two sooner but no earlier.
In regards to Hayter, Meltzer reported that AEW officials currently have an estimated timetable of February of 2023 for Hayter’s potential return due to the status of her injuries. Meltzer also reported that this is at best a rough estimate for her potential return.
In regards to Rosa, Meltzer reported that Rosa is currently not expected to return in time for AEW’s upcoming All In event but she has been training for her potential return. No timetable was given for her potential return date.
