Sammy Guevara Reportedly Suffered Concussion Injury at AEW WrestleDream

As noted before, Sammy Guevara was pulled from Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite show in Stockton, California due to him not being medically cleared to compete. No other details regarding the nature nor severity of Guevara’s injury were given at the time.

Dave Meltzer reported in this week’s Wrestling Observer Radio that his sources stated that the reason why Guevara was pulled from Wednesday’s show was due to him suffering a concussion injury at this past Sunday’s AEW WrestleDream event.

Meltzer reported that a timetable for Guevara’s return is currently not known due to the uncertain nature of recovery from a concussion injury.

Adam Cole Injury Status Update – Cole Underwent Two Surgeries to Fix Ankle

As noted before, Adam Cole has been out of action for AEW since the September 27th AEW Dynamite show due to an ankle injury.

In a recent Twitch stream session, Cole provided an an update on his recovery from an ankle injury.

“My ankle is broken. When it’s all said and done, When I’m eventually able to get everything all fixed, I’m going to need to get two surgeries, and it will be a total of eight screws and a plate in my ankle. So, not ideal. It’s incredibly painful. It’s the most painful injury I’ve ever had. Speaking to doctors, [it was] just an absolute freak type of thing. No idea how it happened, I’m doing my best to stay as positive as I can. Obviously, this is soul-crushing. it’s really, really a bummer. If anything, it’s more painful mentally and physically, it really really hurts as well.”

Julia Hart & Lee Johnson Reportedly Granted Time Off from AEW

Julia Hart and Lee Johnson reportedly were recently granted some time off from AEW, according to Fightful Select.

It was announced that their sources stated that Hart and Johnson were granted some time off by AEW officials for their upcoming marriage this month and honeymoon. It was reported that Hart and Johnson had been scheduled to start their break following this past Sunday’s AEW WrestleDream event.

In regards to Hart, it was reported that it is currently not known if AEW officials will be filming any vignettes for her while she is absent from the company.
