Various: Alex Shelley Injury Update, Sareee Reportedly in Talks for U.S. Return, Kamille on Career Future

Alex Shelley Calf Injury Status Update

As noted before, Alex Shelley recently suffered a calf-related injury and was pulled from Impact Wrestling’s Turning Point 2023 and UK Invasion Tour events in the United Kingdom this past week.

Cultaholic held a recent interview with Impact President Scott D’Amore. One of the topics discussed included D’Amore providing an update on the status of Shelley’s injury and recovery.

“He’s gonna need a little bit of rest and a little bit of time but he’s gonna be more than healthy and ready before he needs to be back in an IMPACT Wrestling ring. So it’s going to be a good chance for him to rest and recharge. Like this company, like this group does, this talent and crew they rallied around each other. Before I even had a chance to turn my mind towards it talent were coming up and offering suggestions and one of them was Frankie Kazarian stepping up.”

Sareee Reportedly in Talks for Return to the United States

As noted before, former NXT talent Sarray, also known as Sareee elsewhere, left WWE this past March and returned to Japan following the expiration of her contract.

PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that one source spoken to in Japan stated that Sareee is currently in negotiations with a mystery promotion for a return to the United States to perform again in the country.

Johnson reported that these talks are currently not believed to involve WWE.

Kamille Comments on Future of Her NWA & Wrestling Career

A recent episode of the Pro Wrestling Boom Podcast With Jason Powell podcast featured Kamille as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Kamille’s thoughts on the future of her career in the National Wrestling Alliance.

“Of course I would be content staying with the NWA. The word is definitely content. My husband is there. I been there for five years, I know the lay of the land, I know everyone there, I know how it works. I feel very comfortable there. But there comes a point in your life too where you have say, ‘Okay, do I want to stay content, or do I want to get out of my comfort zone a little bit?’ So it’s definitely been something that’s been on my mind. But I have time to sort of think it out. So we shall see.”
