Shane McMahon Injury Update

As noted before, Shane McMahon suffered a torn quad injury at this past April’s WrestleMania 39 event in Inglewood, California.

A recent episode of the Developmentally Speaking podcast featured McMahon’s son Declan McMahon as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Declan providing an update on the status of his father’s recovery from a torn quad injury.

“His rehab is going very, very well. He’s gotten back to jogging, squatting. He’s starting to work out again. His rehab is going really well. He’s making phenomenal progress. The doctor says all the time that he’s healing quicker than they thought. When he tore, he completely tore his quad to me. That’s a very long and hard recovery, but he’s been crushing rehab. He’s been doing his thing and he’ll hopefully get back soon. Obviously, when you’re his son, you want to see your dad be able to do what they love. My dad loves wrestling second to none. I mean, he truly, truly cares for the business, but not only for the business, he truly wants to put on a show for the fans because the fans show him so much love. It’s so rewarding for a lot of these guys just to give to those fans who came to see them. So hopefully he comes back better than ever and I think he will. His rehab is going great.”

The Creed Brothers Comments on Their RAW Brand Debut & Match with Alpha Academy

As noted before, Monday’s WWE RAW show in Greenville, South Carolina featured NXT talents The Creed Brothers and Ivy Nile making their official call-ups and main roster debut for WWE’s RAW brand.

Following their main roster debut, WWE held a digital exclusive backstage interview with The Creed Brothers and Nile about their official RAW brand debuts and the Creed Brothers match against Alpha Academy.

Julius Creed – “Those are guys that we watched compete in the sport of amateur wrestling growing up, so to share the ring with them tonight was special. The Raw audience has only known us a very short amount of time, but we’ve known Raw our entire lives. We grew up watching this show, so at moments in today, I found myself kind of getting caught up with emotion, knowing I was gonna get to go out there on Monday Night Raw with my brother, something that we’ve wanted to do our whole lives. It was a cool moment for sure.”

Brutus Creed – “I’m choked up too, thinking about it. It was amazing. We went out there, and the crowd at the end cheered even more when we won. That was shocking and surprising to me. I didn’t know what to expect. We went against the best we’ve ever gone against, and we came out on top. Not only did we come out on top, but the crowd was behind it and that was surprising to me.”

Nile gave her thoughts about the German Suplex she gave to Akira Tozawa at ringside during the Creed Brothers match.

“Tozawa was just in my way. Me and Maxxine were having a little stare-off, a little moment because for some reason, I think she thinks she can go toe-to-toe with The Pitbull, so I gotta check her a little bit.”
