Marq Quen Injury Status Update

As noted before, Marq Quen has been out of act for AEW since December of 2022 due to an unknown injury.

Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that Quen was in attendance backstage at a recent AEW show and AEW officials are currently hopeful that Quen will be able to return from his injury “sooner than later.”

It was reported that it is currently not known if AEW officials currently have any creative plans for Quen’s potential return.


This Week’s AEW Rampage Show to Air Before Collision Show This Saturday

This week’s AEW Rampage show in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania is currently scheduled to be preempted to this Saturday based on TNT’s schedule listing on their website.

This upcoming show is currently scheduled to air before that night’s AEW Collision show at 7PM EST.

The official reason for the preemption is due to TNT’s NHL season commitments on the network for this Friday.

Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite show in Chicago, Illinois featured Christian Cage officially renaming Luchasaurus as “Killswitch” and Nick Wayne as “The Prodigy” Nick Wayne going forward in AEW.

AEW filed a trademark for “The Mogul Embassy” on November 20th for merchandise-related purposes to the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

The Young Bucks filed trademarks for “KTB Wrestling” and “Superdick Party” on November 21st for wrestling and merchandise-related purposes to the USPTO. In regards to “KTB,” this stands for “Killing The Business” and is part of the subtitle of their autobiographical book.

AEW Games announced that the newest DLC pack featuring The Acclaimed and Season 2 Pass was recently released for their AEW Fight Forever video game.

Hikaru Shida recently announced on Twitter that the gear she wore for her AEW Women’s World Championship match at this past Saturday’s Full Gear 2023 event was inspired by SMT2 Hiroko.

Evil Uno recently announced that Eddie Kingston will be making an appearance for his Mystery Wrestling promotion for their Mystery Wrestling 5 event on December 7th in Gatineau, Quebec, Canada.

Wrestlenomics’ Brandon Thurston reported that AEW had sold 7,108 tickets for a live gate of $533,717 for their WrestleDream event this past October in Seattle, Washington. Thurston reported that this AEW’s tickets sold and live gate revenues was based on recent audit data from Pollstar.

AEW reportedly sold 4,933 tickets for a live gate of $235,652 for their Collision show on September 30th in Seattle, Washington, according to Wrestlenomics and Pollstar.

In a recent interview with the Under The Ring podcast, Orange Cassidy stated that watching all different styles of wrestling helped shape him as a performer with the ECW style heavily influencing him the most. Cassidy stated “I think I watched all the wrestling I could possibly watch. I watched all different styles, all different things. I think that’s what helped shape me. I couldn’t really say I watched one thing. Obviously, you know ECW was a big influence because I was at that perfect time of a fan when they were blowing up that it was like, ‘Oh yeah, this is awesome. In a recent interview with The Messenger, Daniel Garcia gave his thoughts about him considering retiring from wrestling following him breaking his legs in a car accident in 2019. Garcia stated “After the accident. I really didn’t know if I wanted to continue wrestling. It made me realize that life has so many variables that exist, and there’s so much danger in day-to-day life without wrestling. I was like, ‘Man, do I really want to put more danger in my life by traveling so much and doing a high-risk activity? Is that something I want to put myself through? Is that something I want to put my mom through?’ I have a great support system around me. have my family, my friends. I’m incredibly blessed for everything that they do for me and have done for me. How much they continue to do for me. I wouldn’t have been able to make it through mentally without them.
