As noted before, Bryan Danielson recently suffered a broken orbital bone injury. This injury was originally believed and later stated by AEW for storyline reasons to have taken place at this past Wednesday’s Dynamite show but instead actually took place at the October 21st Collision show.
During today’s episode of AEW Control Center, Tony Svhiavone provided an update on Danielson’s injury.
Schiavone stated that Danielson recently underwent surgery and AEW currently expects him to be out of action until “later this year.”
“He’s undergone surgery. He’ll be out until later in the year.”
