Bryan Danielson Broken Orbital Bone Injury Update

As noted before, Bryan Danielson recently suffered a broken orbital bone injury. During this past Saturday’s AEW Collision show in Uncasville, Connecticut, it was stated that Danielson suffered the injury at this past Wednesday’s Dynamite show in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Sports Illustrated’s Justin Barrasso reported that his sources stated that Danielson’s broken orbital bone injury did not actually happen at this past Wednesday’s Dynamite show but instead at the October 21st Collision show in Memphis, Tennessee. Barrasso reported that Danielson had suffered the injury during his match against Andrade El Idolo at the show. Barrasso also reported that those spoken to confirmed that Danielson will need surgery to repair his orbital bone.

In regards to Danielson’s status for New Japan Pro Wrestling’s upcoming Wrestle Kingdom 18 event next year, Dave Meltzer reported in a recent episode of the Wrestling Observer Radio that Danielson’s status for NJPW’s event might be a “touch and go” type situation depending on his surgery and recovery.


AEW Announces MJF to Have Mystery Partner for ROH Tag Titles Match at Full Gear 2023

AEW recently announced one new updated match for the card of their Full Gear 2023 event, which takes place on November 18th at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles, California.

This was announced to a ROH World Tag Team Championship match of The Gunns (Austin & Colten Gunn) vs. MJF & mystery partner (c).

This match was also announced to be taking place on the event’s Zero Hour pre-show.

  • AEW Women’s World Championship – Toni Storm vs. Hikaru Shida (c)

AEW Announces New Match for This Wednesday’s Dynamite Show

AEW CEO Tony Khan recently announced one new match for the card of this Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite show, which takes place at the KFC Yum! Center in Louisville, Kentucky.

This is a tag team match of “Daddy Magic” Matt Menard & Cool Hand Angelo Parker vs. The Golden Jets (Chris Jericho & Kenny Omega).

Updated card for Nov. 1st AEW Dynamite show:

  • AEW International Championship – Claudio Castagnoli vs. Orange Cassidy (c)
