Tammy Sytch DUI Arrest Update – Sytch Sentenced to Over 17 Years in Prison

As noted before, former wrestler Tammy Sytch was arrested this past May in Florida following a police investigation into a fatal car accident involving Sytch in March of 2022. Sytch faced the possibility of up to 25 years in prisons for the charges against her.

Sytch appeared before the Volusia County Court earlier today in Volusia County, Florida for her sentencing. Following a lengthy court hearing, Sytch was sentenced by Judge Karen A. Foxman to 17.6 years in total in prison for the charges of driving with a suspended license causing death, and second-degree felony DUI manslaughter.

Foxman sentenced Sytch to 10.6625 years in prison for the charge of driving with a suspended license causing death with 566 days in credit for the time she has already spent in prison.

Sytch was also sentenced to seven years in prison for the charge of second-degree felony DUI manslaughter to be served consecutively with her first sentence.

Sytch was also sentenced to 364 days in prison for the misdemeanors charges against her to be served concurrently with her other other sentences. Foxman issued 364 days in credit for this sentence for time Sytch had already spent in prison.

Sytch was also given eight years of probation to be served following her incarceration. The terms of her probation were stated to have the standard terms and she will be required to take a substance abuse evaluation with every follow-up treatment. Sytch will also be required to take an alcohol safety education course, serve 50 hours of community service, and pay a $10,000 fine. Sytch’s driver’s license will also be permanently revoked as part of these terms.

Sytch will have 30 days under Florida law to appeal her sentencing which must be submitted in writing.
