Various: Kamille to Leave NWA, Ronda Rousey Wrestling Career Future, New Matches for Impact Final Resolution 2023

Kamille NWA Contract Status Update – Kamille Set to Leave NWA at End of 2023

As noted before, Kamille’s contract with the National Wrestling Alliance is currently set to expire at the end of this year.

PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that his sources stated that Kamille will not be signing a new deal with the NWA and will be leaving the company once her current contract expires.

Johnson reported that Kamille recently gave her notice to NWA officials about her intent to not seek to sign a new deal to remain in the company.

Johnson reported that Kamille’s upcoming departure is very amicable and NWA officials are very thankful for all she did for them during her time in the company. NWA officials reportedly are also very open to her coming back to work dates in the future if she desires to do so.

Update on Ronda Rousey’s Wrestling Career Future

As noted before, former WWE talent Ronda Rousey made her surprise debut for Ring of Honor earlier this month. This was Rousey’s second wrestling appearance since her departure from WWE this past August. Following her ROH appearance, Rousey is currently believed to not be interested in signing a new contract nor focusing on resuming an active career in wrestling.

PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that his sources confirmed that Rousey has not been in any recent talks with AEW or ROH for a potential contract nor does she have any interest in resuming her wrestling career at least for the near future.

Those spoken to close to Rousey reportedly stated that Rousey is currently focused on puttering her family first for the near future and promoting her upcoming book titled Our Fight, which is currently scheduled to be released in April of 2024.

Johnson reported that his sources also confirmed that Rousey’s recent appearances for ROH and Pro Wrestling Revolver were more of her wanting the chance to work with her close friend Marina Shafir. This reportedly was not meant to be any indication of her getting back in the ring to pursue a post-WWE wrestling career. Johnson also reported AEW CEO Tony Khan has left the door open should Rousey ever want to talk again for future work. Johnson reported that the same is likely in WWE as well for her.
