1. NXT Heritage Cup – Chad Gable vs. Noam Dar (c) went to a Time Limit Draw.
   • The score ended 1 point to 1 point with Dar scoring a pinfall point in Round Two and Gable responded with tying up the score with a pinfall point in Round Five.
2. NXT Women’s Championship – Xia Li vs. Lyra Valkyria (c) went to a No Contest
3. Angel Garza & Humberto Carrillo defeated Malik Blade & Edris Enofe via Assisted Pop Up Knee Strike (pinfall)
4. Men’s Iron Survivor Challenge Qualifier match – Josh Briggs defeated Carmelo Hayes via Top Rope Moonsault (pinfall)

Josh Briggs & Blair Davenport Advances to Men’s & Women’s Iron Survivor Challenge Matches

Tuesday’s taped NXT show featured one Women’s and one Men’s qualifying matches for the Women’s and Men’s Iron Survivor Challenge matches at WWE’s NXT Deadline 2023 event, which takes place on December 9th in Bridgeport, Connecticut.

The first match was Josh Briggs defeating Carmelo Hayes in a Men’s Iron Survivor Challenge Qualifier match.

The finish to the match involved Hayes going to the top rope to set up his Nothing But Net to Briggs only to be distracted by Lexis King who ran out and leaped up on the apron. Hayes then punched King sending him off the apron but left himself open to being hit with a lariat by Briggs. Briggs then hit a top rope moonsault for the pinfall victory to advance to the Men’s Iron Survivor Challenge match at NXT Deadline 2023.

The second match was Blair Davenport defeating Thea Hail in a Women’s Iron Survivor Challenge Qualifier match.

The finish to this match involved Hail hitting an Exploder Suplex to Davenport on the floor and threw her back into the ring and followed with a senton to Davenport. Hail then got distracted by the Chase U section of the crowd lack of support for her only to be told by Jacy Jayne at ringside to focus on her match instead. This led to Hail attempting to hit a Springboard Coffin Drop only for Davenport to counter it with her knees. Davenport then hit a Bea Trigger for the pinfall victory to advance to the Women’s Iron Survivor Challenge match at NXT Deadline 2023.

Briggs joins Trick Williams and Dijak for the Men’s Iron Survivor Challenge match while Davenport joins Lash Legend and Tiffany Stratton for the Women’s Iron Survivor Challenge match at next month’s NXT Deadline 2023 event.

Four-Way Match Announced for Next Week’s Show with Wes Lee to Get Potential NXT North American Title Match for NXT Deadline 2023

Tuesday’s taped NXT show also featured a potential new match for NXT Deadline 2023.

This potential new match is a NXT North American Championship match of Wes Lee vs. Dominik Mysterio (c).

This potential new match was setup following a promo segment by Wes Lee and Dominik Mysterio. Lee gave a promo stating his reasons he came back to NXT since he had unfinished business with Mysterio and issued a challenge to Mysterio for his North American title at NXT Deadline 2023. This led to Mysterio coming out to interrupt and mocked Lee for being a loser and listed all the times in recent months that Lee failed to come out on top. Mysterio also claimed that he made the North American title more relevant than Lee ever did. Mysterio then stated that he will give Lee a shot at his title at Deadline 2023 but only if he wins a Four-way match against three former North American Champions at next week’s show.

Later in the show, it was announced that Lee will be facing off against Cameron Grime, Bronson Reed, and Johnny Gargano and should Lee win, then he will be granted a title match against Mysterio at NXT Deadline 2023.
