CMLL Announces Official Return of Andrade El Idolo for Next Week

As noted before, Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre recently revealed that a mystery person will be arriving soon in the company, who is expected to be the return of Andrade El Idolo. Andrade’s contract with AEW is currently believed to be expiring relatively soon as the reason for Andrade’s return to CMLL.

During Friday’s Viernes Espectacular event at the Arena Mexico in Mexico City, Mexico, CMLL announced that Andrade will be making his official return to the company at their next Viernes Espectacular event on December 15th in Mexico City.

CMLL announced earlier today on Twitter that Andrade will be teaming up with Soberano Jr. and Angel Del Oro in a Trios match against Mistico, Atlantis Jr., & Star Jr. at the event.


Athena Suffered Broken Nose Injury But Still Planning to Wrestle at ROH Final Battle 2023

Athena recently announced in a now deleted tweet on Twitter that she had suffered a broken nose injury during her match at Ring of Honor’s ROH TV tapings this past Tuesday in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

Athena also stated that despite her injury, she is still planning to defend her ROH Women’s World Championship against Billie Starkz at next Saturday’s Final Battle 2023 event in Garland, Texas.

Impact/TNA Announces Streaming Deal with Endeavor for TNA+

As noted before, Impact/TNA Wrestling recently announced that they will be rebranding their Impact+ streaming service to TNA+ starting on December 14th.

Impact/TNA announced that they have recently signed a partnership deal with Endeavor Streaming, subsidiary of Endeavor who is the parent company of WWE and TKO, for the relaunch of TNA+ on the streaming service on January 5, 2024.
