Prestige Wrestling Announces The Globe Theatre Has Actually Shut Down

As noted before, iconic wrestling venue The Globe Theatre in Los Angeles, California initially made the decision to shut down their doors only to quickly reverse the decision this past November. The reason for the initial decision was due to a dispute between the building’s owner and those running the theater itself.

Prestige Wrestling recently provided an update stating that their upcoming co-promoted Combat Princess USA event with Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling will no longer be taking place at the venue and instead will now be taking place at The Vermont Hollywood in Los Angeles. It was announced that the official reason is due to further complications issues with the Globe Theatre.

In a followup announcement, Prestige owner William Quintana stated on Twitter that the reason for the venue change is due to him being recently informed that the Globe Theatre has actually shut down.
