Quick Match Results

  1. All or Nothing Tag Team match – OTM (Bronco Nima & Lucien Price) defeated Chase U (Duke Hudson & Andre Chase) via Double Team Spine Buster (pinfall)
    • As a result of their victory, OTM received a shot at the NXT Tag Team Championship that had belonged to Chase U as per match stipulations.
  2. NXT Heritage Cup Championship – Noam Dar (c) defeated Josh Briggs via Disqualification
    • Briggs scored the first point following a clothesline to Dar for the pinfall in the second round.
    • The final score was Briggs with 1 point and Dar with 0 points following Briggs being disqualified for using a spit bucket as a weapon in the fourth round.
  3. Cora Jade defeated Karmen Petrovic via Future Shock DDT (pinfall)
  4. 2023 NXT Men’s Breakout Tournament Semifinal Round match – Riley Osborne defeated Lexis King via Shooting Star Press (pinfall)
  5. Bron Breaker defeated Nathan Frazer via Spear (pinfall)
  6. 2023 NXT Men’s Breakout Tournament Semifinal Round match – Oba Femi defeated Tavion Heights via Pop-up Powerbomb (pinfall)

Riley Osborne & Oba Femi Advance to Finals of Men’s Breakout 2023 Tournament

Tuesday’s taped NXT show featured two Semifinal Round matches for WWE’s NXT Men’s Breakout 2023 tournament.

The first Semifinal round tournament match was Riley Osborne defeating Lexis King.

The finish to this match involved King hitting a straitjacket lungblower to Osborne for a near fall and followed it with several punches. King then lifted Osborne onto the top rope and climbed up only to be distracted by Trey Bearhill at ringside leading to Osborne shoving King off the top rope. Osborne hit a Shooting Star Press to King for the pinfall victory to advance to the Finals of this year’s NXT Men’s Breakout tournament.

The second Semifinal round tournament match was Oba Femi defeating Tavion Heights.

The finish to this match involved Heights hitting a Death Valley Driver to Femi and followed it with a deadlift German suplex and an overhead belly-to-belly sending Femi out of the ring. Heights then went out of the ring and grabbed Femi tossing him back into the ring. Femi then hit a clothesline to Heights followed it with a face first slam onto the mat and pop-up powerbomb for the pinfall victory to advance to the Finals of this year’s Men’s Breakout tournament.

Osborne and Femi will be facing off in the Finals of this year’s tournament at next week’s New Year’s Evil 2024 show.

Tuesday’s taped NXT show also featured the full list of winners announced for this year’s NXT Year End Awards.

Three New Matches & One Updated Announced for NXT New Year’s Evil 2024

Tuesday’s taped NXT show also featured three new matches officially announced and one updated match for the card of NXT New Year’s Evil 2024 show, which takes place on January 3, 2024 at WWE’s Performance Center.

The first new match announced was a Six-Man Tag Team match of No Quarter Catch Crew vs. Dragon Lee & LWO (Joaquin Wilde & Cruz Del Toro).

This match was setup following a backstage promo segment involving No Quarter Catch Crew. During their promo, Drew Gulak talked about their recent issues with Lee and the LWO getting involved in their business. After Damian Kemp, Myles Borne, and Charlie Dempsey all spoke about what No Quarter Catch Crew means to them, Gulak issued a challenge to Lee and the LWO to a Six-Man Tag Team match against three guys of their group at next week’s NXT New Year’s Evil 2024 show. In a follow-up backstage interview segment, Lee and the LWO agreed to No Quater Catch Crew’s challenge. Later in the show, it was announced that this match was made official for New Year’s Evil 2024.

The second new match announced was a singles match of Arianna Grace vs. Roxanne Perez.

This match was setup following a backstage promo segment involving Grace and Ava. Grace talked about Perez’s recent actions towards her and suggested that Perez should take some anger management classes. Ava responded that she understands Grace’s issues but Grace will be facing off against Perez in a match at next week’s New Year’s Evil 2024 show.

The third new match announced was a singles match of Tiffany Stratton vs. Fallon Henley.

This match was initially setup during last week’s show following Stratton’s post-match attack on Henley after her loss and Henley stating that she wanted revenge leading to Stratton issuing a challenge with the stipulation of if Henley lost, then she must become her personal butler. During tonight’s show. Henley, Josh Briggs, and Brooks Jensen were backstage discussing about Briggs loss to Noam Dar and Stratton’s challenge to Henley. Later in the show, it was announced that this match was made official for New Year’s Evil 2024.

In regards to the updated match, this is a 2023 NXT Men’s Breakout Tournament Finals match of Riley Osborne vs. Oba Femi.

This updated match was setup following Osborne defeating Lexis King and Femi defeating Tavion Heights in Semifinal Round matches during tonight’s show.
