Jay Lethal Teases Again About Wanting to Break Away from Jeff Jarrett’s Group

Friday’s taped Rampage show featured Jay Lethal teasing for a second time about wanting to break away from Jeff Jarrett & Pals group.

In a backstage segment on the show, Lethal, Sonjay Dutt, and Satnam Singh were seen arguing about the dysfunctional state of their group. Lethal stated that they have been arguing over dumb things and feels the group has been holding him back. Dutt agreed and stated that someone should leave the group and suggested Karen Jarrett since he claimed she was the cause of all of their problems. This led to Singh responding back asking if Dutt was out of his mind since they needed to keep Karen and instead they should kick out Jeff Jarrett instead. Lethal responded back stating that this just proves they’ve been bickering over dumb things and that he came to AEW to win some gold. Lethal then stated that he had thought this would have been AEW Tag Team gold but maybe he should go after singles gold instead and walked away. Dutt quickly left as well trying to get Lethal to change his mind while Singh looked on over what just happened.
