AEW Announces Return of AEW Rankings System

Saturday’s AEW Collision show in St. Louis, Missouri featured the official announcement of the upcoming return of AEW’s ranking system for their championships divisions.

AEW previously used a ranking system for their championships divisions from early 2019 to late 2022.


Minoru Suzuki Return Appearance & More Announced for Jan. 27th AEW Dynamite Show

AEW announced that New Japan Pro Wrestling talent Minoru Suzuki will be making an appearance for the company at next week’s Dynamite show on January 24th in Savannah, Georgia. It was also announced that Suzuki will be facing off against Adam Copeland in a “Cope Open” Challenge match on the show.

Besides Suzuki’s appearance and match, AEW also announced four other new matches for the card of next week’s show.

These new matches announced were:

  • Penta El Zero Miedo vs. Hangman Adam Page
  • Jeff Hardy vs. Swerve Strickland
  • Wardlow vs Trent Beretta
  • AEW World Trios Championship – Mogul Embassy (Brian Cage & Gates of Agony (Toa Liona & Bishop Kaun)) vs. The Acclaimed (Max Caster & Anthony Bowens) & Billy Gunn (c)

Also announced for next week’s show is a face-to-face segment between “Timeless” Toni Storm and Deonna Purrazzo and a promo segment featuring Sting & Darby Allin.
