Seth Rollins Knee Injury Rumored to be More Serious Than Previously Believed

As noted before, Seth Rollins suffered a knee injury at this past Monday’s WWE RAW show in North Little Rock, Arkansas. Rollins was able to walk on his own backstage but the severity and exact nature of his injury was not known at the time.

PWTorch’s Wade Keller reported that Rollins’ injury might be worse than previously believed based on how his sources reacted when he asked for more information. Keller stated:

“Connecting some dots, I am thinking it’s not good news but I don’t know how bad the news is. The reason for that is, I’ve asked a bunch of people and some of whom would likely be privy to what’s going on who won’t comment. I understand there’s internal policies on that. But I would think if he was fine and he ‘walked it off’ [then] we’d be hearing that.”

Keller reported that it is possible that WWE could use Rollins’ legitimate injury for storyline purposes and either write him out if it is indeed serious or hold off and wait until more tests results arrive before making any definitive decision. Keller also reported that those spoken to currently believe that the news likely will be bad regarding Rollins’ knee injury situation.

One talent spoken to reportedly stated that because of Rollins’ history with injuries, Rollins would have had a good idea if he should have finished the match with the injury and if he should be walking on it backstage. This same talent reportedly stated that since Rollins managed to do both, it could be one of those situations where he just needs to rest his knee for a few weeks. This same talent reportedly also stated that they do not rule out the possibility of Rollins’ injury being much worse.

Dakota Kai ACL Injury Status Update

As noted before, Dakota Kai has been out of action for WWE since this past May due to an ACL injury.

Kai recently provided an update on Twitch denying recent rumors and speculation that she has been faking her injury due to her being able to move around well on WWE television shows.

“I’m so sick of seeing people saying, ‘She can run and jump, but she’s not cleared still?’ No, that’s not how this works. Obviously, I can run and jump because I’ve been doing it for the last few months, but they have a set date for when you actually get cleared because I have to still do matches and they have to check all the boxes of when I’m actually cleared. I’m not going to be in a wheelchair for nine months and then suddenly stand up and go, ‘I’m cured.’ That’s not how it works …

I have been running. I have been jumping. Please stop with ‘she’s lying, she’s faking.’ Do you think it’s been my choice to not wrestle for nine months? Do you think it’s been my choice? No. I don’t know when the clear date is. Please stop asking me. Rehab is going great though. It’s definitely not long now.”

I think I’m in a completely different space now. I know that I’m older, I know, I’m not what [I] used to be. But I know I still have a lot to give, there’s a lot in the tank. And I guess my goals now is to mix it up with the young guys and just help the next generation of wrestlers and the business as best as I can putting in my little input on it. That’s kind of my goal, too, to elevate the other guys. We all know who Rey Mysterio is, and [Santos] Escobar seems to be on a path going up. So, any other members that come in, the new guys, that’s what I want to do, to elevate them and make them just as big as any other part of the LWO.
