Young Bucks vs. Top Flight Announced for Feb. 14th AEW Dynamite Show

Friday’s taped Rampage show featured one new match officially announced for next week’s AEW Dynamite show on February 14th in Cedar Park, Texas.

This new match announced was a tag team match of The Young Bucks (Matthew & Nicholas Jackson) vs. Top Flight (Darius & Dante Martin).

This match was setup following a post-match promo the Young Bucks gave on tonight’s show congratulating Sting & Darby Allin for their recent AEW World Tag Team Championship victory and claiming that they will get their tag titles back. Matthew Jackson stated that they will not abuse their EVP powers and instead will get their title shot the fair way by climbing up the rankings to be the top ranked team for the titles. Following the segment, AEW commentator Excalibur announced that The Young Bucks will be facing off against Top Flight in a tag match at next week’s Dynamite show.

Current card for February 14th AEW Dynamite show:

Two New Matches Announced for Sat. AEW Collision Show

Friday’s taped Rampage show also featured two new matches officially announced for the card of this Saturday’s AEW Collision show in Henderson, Nevada.

The first new match announced was a singles match of Deonna Purrazzo vs. Red Velvet.

This match was initially announced on Friday afternoon prior to the start of the show.

The second new match announced was a 2-on-1 Handicap match of Brian Cage vs. mystery team.

This match was setup following a backstage interview segment involving Mogul Embassy’s Brian Cage and Prince Nana. Cage and Nana aired their grievances about HOOK in recent weeks and HOOK’s chair attack to Cage last week. Cage stated that if HOOK was able to face off against two guys at the same time in a match, then he can easily do the same and challenged for any “two sloppy Joes” to face off against him at this Saturday’s Collision show.

Current card for February 10th AEW Collision show:

  • AEW International Championship – Tomohiro Ishii vs. Orange Cassidy (c)
  • Blackpool Combat Club (Jon Moxley & Claudio Castagnoli) vs. Team CMLL (Esfinge & Star Jr.)
  • Toni Storm vs. Queen Aminata
  • Deonna Purrazzo vs. Red Velvet
  • 2-on-1 Handicap match – Brian Cage vs. mystery team

Ruby Soho Leaves The Outcasts at Friday’s Rampage Show

Friday’s taped Rampage show also featured Ruby Soho splitting from The Outcasts.

This was initially setup over recent weeks of shows involving Saraya and Harley Cameron trying to drive a wedge between Soho and Angelo Parker’s growing relationship that was later ruined by The Outcasts.

Prior to the start of the main event tag team match between Willow Nightingale & Kris Statlander and The Outcasts, Soho was seen grabbing a note out of her jacket pocket and reading its contents during her entrance.

During the match, Soho and Saraya were involved in an incident resulting in Saraya accidentally punching Soho in the face after Statlander dodged a punch while being held by Soho. Near the end of the match, Saraya reached out to tag Soho on the apron only for Soho to jump down and started to walk away. Cameron tried to stop Soho from leaving only for Soho to respond with a punch laying out Cameron.
