As noted before, Mercedes Mone has been out of action since this past May due to an ankle injury. During her time away, Mone’s contract with New Japan Pro Wrestling and Stardom expired and she has recently resumed talks with AEW for a potential deal. Mone is currently expected to make her in-ring return from injury at some point this March.
Fightful Select reported that their sources and also Mat Men Pro Wrestling’s Andrew Zarian’s own sources have both stated that Mone is currently expected to appear in AEW this March.
It was reported that AEW officials currently have plans in place for Mone to “physically appear” in the company next month and this will likely happen after their upcoming Revolution 2024 event on March 3rd.
It was also reported that it is currently not known when Mone will make her official in-ring debut for the company.
