Former WCW wrestler and Pro Football Hall of Fame inductee Steve “Mongo” McMichael was hospitalized on Thursday in Chicago, Illinois.
McMichaels’ hospitalization was first announced by NBC’s Mike Berman on Twitter who stated that McMichael’s publicist had informed him of McMichael’s dealing with a suspected bout of pneumonia.

In a follow-up statement, McMichael’s family stated that he is currently dealing with a urinary tract infection and was sent to the ICU.
