Becky Lynch Wins Women’s Elimination Chamber & Drew McIntyre Wins Men’s Elimination Chamber Matches

Saturday’s Elimination Chamber 2024 event for WWE at the Optus Stadium in Perth, Australia featured a Men’s and Women’s Elimination Chamber matches.

In regards to the Women’s Elimination Chamber match, Becky Lynch defeated Bianca Belair, Liv Morgan, Naomi, Raquel Rodriguez, and Tiffany Stratton to earn a shot at the WWE Women’s World Championship at this April’s WrestleMania 40 event. Lynch will be facing off against Rhea Ripley for Ripley’s title at WrestleMania 40 following Ripley successfully defending her belt against Nia Jax at the event.

In regards to the Men’s Elimination Chamber, Drew McIntyre defeated Bobby Lashley, Kevin Owens, LA Knight, Logan Paul, and Randy Orton to earn a shot at the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 40. McIntyre will be facing off against Seth Rollins for Rollins’ title at WrestleMania 40.

Cody Rhodes Issues Match Challenge to The Rock at WWE Elimination Chamber 2024

Saturday’s WWE Elimination Chamber 2024 event also featured Cody Rhodes issuing an official challenge to Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson for a match between the two in the future.

This was setup following a Waller Effect segment on the show involving Rhodes, Seth Rollins, Austin Theory, and Grayson Waller. During the segment, Rhodes commented about The Rock’s slapping him in the face during WWE’s WrestleMania 40 press event and called out The Rock for a potential match between the two in the future. Rollins responded stating that there is no such thing as a one-on-one when it comes to The Bloodline and promised to have his back if the Rock were to accept the challenge. Afterwards, Rhodes, Rollins, Theory, and Waller engaged in a brawl that resulted in Rhodes and Rollins standing tall in the end.
