  1. AEW World Championship – Samoa Joe (c) defeated Wardlow via Coquina Clutch (submission)
    • Following the match, Swerve Strickland came out and attacked security who tried to stop him from confronting Joe. This led to Joe leaving the ring and walking away to the back before Strickland could get to him.
  2. The Elite (The Young Bucks (Matthews & Nicholas Jackson) & Kazuchika Okada) defeated Death Triangle (Penta El Zero Miedo & PAC) & Eddie Kingston via Rainmaker (pinfall)
    • Near the end of the match, Nicholas gave a low blow to Kingston while the referee was distracted with Matthew leading to Okada hitting the Rainmaker to Kingston to secure the victory for The Elite.
  3. Jay White defeated Darby Allin via Bladerunner (pinfall)
    • Near the end of the match, Allin attempted a Coffin Drop from the top rope to White on the apron only for White to dodge out of the way in time. This led to Allin crashing hard onto the apron and floor and barely managed to recover in time to get back in the ring before the 10 count. This led to White hitting a Bladerunner right as Allin got back in for the pinfall victory.
    • Following the match, The Gunns came out and White offered a handshake to Allin that turned out to just be a ruse. White then gave the gun hand sign and Bullet Club Gold proceeded to attack Allin. BCG’s attack was interrupted by The Acclaimed & Billy Gunn. The Acclaimed took Allin out of the ring while Billy and White got into an argument. After Billy turned his back on White to leave, White grabbed a chair and attacked Billy leading to the Acclaimed running back into the ring only to get beaten up by The Gunns. The Gunns then tossed Allin back into the ring and placed chairs on his ankle leading to White striking the chairs with a bat to injure Allin.
  4. Chris Jericho & HOOK defeated The Gates of Agony (Toa Liona & Bishop Kaun) via Redrum (submission)
    • HOOK submitted Kaun after locking in the Redrum after Jericho took out Liona to prevent Liona from breaking the hold.
  5. Willow Nightingale defeated Riho via Babe With The Powerbomb (pinfall)
    • Following the match, Nightingale and Riho gave a hug to each other. After Riho got out of the ring, the lights went out and when it came back on. Julia Hart was at ringside leading to a distracted Nightingale being attacked from behind by Skye Blue. Hart and Blue attacked Nightingale leading to Mone coming out to save Nightingale and cleared Blue and Hart away. Nightingale raised Mone’s hand in the air in a sign of respect and left the ring while Mone celebrated to close out the show.

Will Ospreay Comments on His Upcoming Match Against Bryan Danielson at AEW Dynasty

Wednesday’s Dynamite Big Business show featured Will Ospreay commenting about his upcoming match against Bryan Danielson at next month’s AEW Dynasty event, which takes place on April 21st at the Chaifetz Arena in St. Louis, Missouri.

During the show, Tony Schiavone called for Ospreay to come out to the ring for an interview about his upcoming match against Danielson. Ospreay came out and started talking about Boston and how important this match at Dynasty is to him. Ospreay stated that he wanted to emulate Danielson and appreciates that the American Dragon is a fan of his work. Ospreay then talked about the chat he had with Danielson after his match against Kenny Omega at Forbidden Door and where everyone talked about the Tiger Driver ’91 he did to Omega. Ospreay stated that Danielson asked him if it was worth it, which he stated that he responded back saying it was. Ospreay then stated that he respects Danielson but this match means a lot more to him and the people who have been cheering him on. Ospreay also stated that since he has arrived in AEW, there has been a phrase that had been following him, which he revealed to be “restore the feeling.” Ospreay stated that he is the feeling.

After some more words, Ospreay stated that this match is all about proving who is the best in this business and he plans to prove it himself because he is Will Ospreay and he is on another level.

Wednesday’s Big Business show also featured three matches announced for the card of this Friday’s Rampage Big Business show.

These matches were setup following match graphics shown on the screen.

Darby Allin Suffers Leg “Injury” at Wednesday’s AEW Big Business Show

Wednesday’s Dynamite Big Business show also featured Darby Allin suffering a storyline leg injury at the hands of Bullet Club Gold.

Following Jay White’s victory over Allin in a very physical match on the show, White pretended to offer a handshake of respect to Allin. This turned out to be a ruse and instead White gave a gun hand sign leading to him and The Gunns attacking Allin. This attack was interrupted by The Acclaimed and Billy Gunn but this only turned out to be temporary due to Bullet Club Gold ended up attacking The Acclaimed and Gunn officially ending the Bang Bang Scissor Gang super group. The Gunns then tossed Allin back into the ring and placed chairs on his leg while White swung Sting’s bat that he took from Allin right onto the chairs injuring Allin’s leg in the process.

This was AEW’s way of writing out Allin who will be leaving later this month for his scheduled climbing of Mount Everest.


Kyle O’Reilly In-Ring Return Announced for This Saturday’s Collision Show

Wednesday’s Dynamite Big Business show also featured the announcement of Kyle O’Reilly making his in-ring return from injury at this Saturday’s AEW Collision show in Ottawa, Canada.

It was announced that O’Reilly will be facing off in a singles match against “The Bounty Hunter” Bryan Keith at the show.

This will be O’Reilly’s first match since June of 2022 due to a neck injury and neck fusion surgery.
