The Motor City Machine Guns’ Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin’s contracts with TNA Wrestling is currently rumored to be expiring soon, according to PWInsider.
Mike Johnson reported that The Motor City Machine Guns are currently scheduled to work at an indie event for Smash Wrestling on April 21st in London, Ontario, Canada. Johnson reported that this date is interesting due to that being on the same weekend that TNA will be holding their Rebellion 2024 event in Las Vegas, Nevada. Specifically, TNA will be holding an Impact! television taping in Las Vegas on the same day as Smash Wrestling’s event.
Johnson reported that his sources stated that the current belief is that Shelley and Sabin’s contracts with TNA are expiring shortly and possibly as soon as the end of this month. Johnson speculated that Shelley and Sabin could still remain working for TNA after their contracts expire but TNA would no longer hold priority for their bookings.
Shelley has been with TNA since July of 2020 while Sabin has been with TNA since March of 2019 for their current stints in the company.
