Tuesday’s NXT Roadblock 2024 show at WWE’s Performance Center in Orlando, Florida featured William Regal making a surprise appearance in NXT.
During the show, No Quarter Catch Crew’s Drew Gulak, Charlie Dempsey, Damon Kemp, and Myles Borne gave a promo in the ring in celebration of Dempsey’s NXT Heritage Cup victory at last week’s NXT show and them invoking the Catch Clause for future Heritage Cup matches. Before they could continue, Regal’s music interrupted and he came out to the ring.
Regal grabbed a microphone and stated that it is a delightful to see all of you again, in reference to the crowd chanting “welcome back” to him. Regal stated that the Heritage Cup means the world to him because it represents the best of the British and European scene and a tribute to everyone who has competed before him. Regal then stated that he hopes that the No Quarter Catch Crew will defend the title with the honor and integrity it deserves. Dempsey responded back stating that he will defend it better than Regal ever could. Regal responded back stating that he will be watching.
