Miro Injury Status Update – Miro Reveals He’s Recovering from Shoulder & Elbow Injuries

As noted before, Miro has been out of action for AEW since this past December due to an undisclosed injury at the time. During his time away, Miro had been involved in an online incident over him disputing claims made by AEW CEO Tony Khan over Khan’s original plans for the Meat Madness match at this past March’s Revolution 2024 event.

A recent episode of Sportskeeda’s WrestleBinge podcast featured Miro as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Miro providing an injury update revealing that he has been recovering from a shoulder and elbow injuries.

“I have a shoulder injury and an elbow injury that occurred late last year, so finally took care of it late January. Got a whole bunch of shots and now I’m recovering, rehabbing, and come back stronger than ever.”

Miro also gave his thoughts about his experience working with Khan in AEW.

“Tony’s great, man. He’s creative, his mind is running always, he always thinks about wrestling, he’s always thinking about how to get things better. So I respect that. I respect that he loves wrestling – he did all his life. And now he’s carried that to the second or one of the biggest companies in the world.”

In regards to AEW’s plans to air the footage, Meltzer reported that his sources confirmed that it was Khan’s idea and the Young Bucks were not upset over it. Meltzer reported that the Young Bucks have personally moved on from their situation with Punk and did felt it was a bit weird to have gone back to the past but were happy to try and turn it into helping their current storyline feud with FTR for the AEW World Tag Team titles.

Meltzer reported that the Young Bucks were happy with how everything turned out for their segment on the show.
