Rhea Ripley Suffered Injury at Last Week’s RAW Show & Might Vacate WWE Women’s World Title

Rhea Ripley reportedly suffered a potential serious injury at last week’s WWE RAW show in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, according to PWInsider.

Mike Johnson reported that his sources stated that Ripley suffered the injury during her backstage brawl segment with Liv Morgan which featured a chair being tossed at Ripley’s head.

Johnson reported that WWE officials have held internal talks about the possibility of Ripley vacating her title and as early as tonight’s RAW show due to the severity of her injury.

Fightful Select reported that their sources confirmed Johnson’s report and stated that Ripley’s injury was described as being a freak accident and took place when Ripley was sent into the walls by Morgan.

It was reported that Morgan currently does not have any backstage heat over the situation nor was she being blamed for the injury by Ripley and WWE officials.

It was also reported that WWE officials have been holding talks as far back as this past Wednesday over the idea that Ripley may need to vacate her title due to her injury.
