ABC & Leon Slater vs. The Rascalz & Myron Reed Announced for TNA Rebellion 2024

TNA Wrestling recently announced one new match for the card of their Rebellion 2024 event, which takes place on April 20th at the Palms Casino Resort in Paradise, Nevada.

This new match announced was a Six-Man Tag Team match of ABC (Ace Austin & Chris Bey) & Leon Slater vs. The Rascalz (Zachary Wentz & Trey Miguel) & Myron Reed. It was also announced that this match will be taking place on the Countdown to Rebellion pre-show.

Sabu Indie Wrestling Hall of Fame No-Show Incident Update – Sabu Returns Deposit & GCW Donates It to Non-Profit Charity

As noted before, ECW legend Sabu was involved in an incident at this past Sunday’s 2024 Indie Wrestling Hall of Fame event for Game Changer Wrestling over him no showing his scheduled Hall of Fame induction appearance. Sabu recently revealed that the reason for his no show was due to him simply changing him mind about making his scheduled appearance.

GCW owner Brett Lauderdale recently provided an update on Twitter stating that Sabu had returned his booking deposit of $300 and the company donated the money to The William Way LGBT Community Center non-profit organization in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.


Misc. Wrestling News & Notes

Lucha Blog reported that lucha wrestler Latin Lover was recently hired as the new creative director for the company and will be starting at their Tripemania XXXII: Monterrey event later this month. Lucha Blog reported that this was AAA head booker Konnan’s position in the company and it is currently not known how this will affecting his status in the company.

House of Glory recently announced that AJ Francis will be making his official debut for the company at their The War Within event on May 24th in New York City, New York.

Ice Ribbon announced that Kaho Matsushita suffered a torn ACL and meniscus injury during a recent training session and will be undergoing surgery to repair her knee.

Saturday’s Stardom event in Tokyo, Japan featured Giulia’s final match of her Stardom career. Giulia teamed with Syuri in a tag team match against Hanan & Mayu Iwatani that went to a time limit draw result. Following the match, Giulia gave a speech to the crowd stating “STARDOM! Thank you for all the support these last four years, even after the peculiar way that I transferred organizations. I’m proud to have been able to compete in Stardom, and I’ll treasure this experience forever. From this moment forward, I’ll continue to aim even higher. And with that: Arrivederci!
