As noted before, Becky Lynchβs contract with WWE is currently set to expire this June.
Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that Lynch has yet to sign a new contract with WWE and her current deal is set to expire on June 1st.
It was reported that those spoken to within the wrestling industry stated that Lynch is expected to be offered the biggest contract of any woman in pro wrestling history.
In regards to Lynch’s career future, PWTorch’s Wade Keller reported that his sources stated that Lynch had told others within WWE that she will not be going to AEW imminently. Those spoken to reported stated that Lynch is currently expected to take a break from WWE and wrestling once her contract expires.
Keller reported that one of Lynch’s colleagues stated that they currently believe that Lynch will return to WWE “some day.” This same person reportedly stated that they feel confident that WWE and Lynch can work out a new deal “especially with her husband Seth Rollins being a full-time wrestler there, but her body and mind could use a break for a while.”
Following Monday’s WWE RAW show, Lynch sat in the ring reflecting on her steel cage match against Liv Morgan to close out the show and acknowledged the “thank you” chants from the crowd.
