WWE Announces November Date for Crown Jewel 2024 Event in Saudi Arabia

Saturday’s WWE King & Queen of the Ring 2024 event in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia featured WWE officially announcing that they will be returning to the country this November for this year’s Crown Jewel event.

It was also announced that this upcoming event will be taking place on November 2nd.

No other details were given regarding this upcoming event.


WWE Head of Corporate Social Responsibility Among Recent WWE Staff Layoffs

As noted before, WWE’s office staff was impacted by a new round of layoffs this past Thursday at WWE’s headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut.

Post Wrestling’s John Pollock and Wrestlenomics’ Brandon Thurston reported that their sources stated that WWE Head of Corporate Social Responsibility Beth Fisher was among those laid off by the company last week.

Besides Fisher, Pollock was reported that one other staff member of Fisher’s team had also been among those laid off last week.

Prior to her release, Fisher had been with WWE since August of 2011 and had been WWE’s Head of Corporate Social Responsibility since November of 2019.


New Uncle Howdy QR Code Teaser Airs at WWE King & Queen of the Ring 2024

As noted before, WWE currently has plans for Bo Dallas and the Uncle Howdy character’s return to the company.

Saturday’s WWE King & Queen of the Ring 2024 event in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia featured a new video teaser for Dallas and Uncle Howdy’s upcoming return.

Prior to the start of the WWE Intercontinental Championship Triple Threat match of Chad Gable vs. Bronson Reed vs. Sami Zayn (c) on the show, the screen briefly glitched and a flashed a new QR code. When scanned, this leads to a video showing connections being established a mystery person playing WWE 2k24. This person then heads towards the door and states “hello” as a message reflects on the window. The video’s feed then cuts off and a “connection lost” error message appears at the end.
