John Cena Comments on Signing Post-Retirement Contract with WWE

As noted before, John Cena will be holding a retirement tour for his in-ring wrestling career in 2025.

A recent episode of the Club Shay Shay podcast featured Cena as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Cena revealing that he has already signed a post-retirement contract with WWE.

“I have such a trustworthy relationship with them over two decades. I am a champion of the brand. I love the company. It is my home, they are my family,” Cena said. “Even after 2025, I’ve already signed an extension to remain a member of the WWE family for the near, mid, and long-term future. I don’t think there will be a beat of my heart where WWE doesn’t come out of.”

WWE No Longer Advertising Roman Reigns for September 13th WWE SmackDown Show

WWE recently removed Roman Reigns for the advertisement of their upcoming WWE SmackDown show on September 13th in Seattle, Washington. This show will be the premiere episode of SmackDown’s return to the USA Network.

Reigns profile was removed from the Featured Superstars list and was replaced with Tiffany Stratton on the advertisement banner for the show on their official website.

It is currently not known if Reigns will be making an appearance or not for this upcoming show.

A recent episode of the Six Feed Under with Mark Calaway podcast featured WWE Hall of Famer and co-host The Undertaker’s thoughts about Dominik Mysterio’s heel work being a heat-seeking magnet in WWE.

“How about Dominik, though? Dude, is he not killing it? No [he doesn’t have to wrestle.] That’s the great thing about it. He ain’t getting beat up. He just gotta be Dom, man.
