Friday’s Turning Point 2024 event for TNA Wrestling at the Benton Convention Center in Winston-Salem, North Carolina featured former WWE and current Major League Wrestling talent Matt Riddle making his surprise debut appearance for TNA.
Prior to the start of the show, TNA had announced that Trey Miguel was pulled from the show due to travel-related issues and a replacement would be named for his scheduled Six-Man Tag Team match with Zachary Wentz & KUSHIDA against The Hardys & Ace Austin.
During the show, Austin & The Hardys came out to the ring and were followed by KUSHIDA and Wentz. Wentz grabbed a microphone and talked about the news on social media about who their mystery tag partner could be. This led to Riddle’s music playing and his name showing up on the big screen on the stage and came out to the ring.
