“Speedball” Mike Bailey Expired TNA Contract & Interest from AEW and WWE Update – Bailey Reportedly Expected to Join AEW

As noted before, “Speedball” Mike Bailey’s contract with TNA Wrestling expired on November 1st and has recently departed from the company. AEW and WWE are currently expected to be very interested in Bailey for a potential new deal for their respective companies.

Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp reported that those spoken to close to Bailey and several talents within TNA stated that they believe Bailey will soon put pen to paper with AEW for a new contract.

Those spoken to reportedly stated that if Bailey were headed to WWE, either for their main roster or NXT brand, then TNA officials would not have needed to write Bailey off of television due to TNA’s current working partnership with WWE.
