Matt Cardona vs. Chris Jericho for ROH World Title and The Righteous vs. Sammy Guevara in Texas Bull Rope ROH Tag Titles Matches Set for ROH Final Battle 2024

Ring of Honor announced two new matches for the card of their Final Battle 2024 event, which takes place on December 20th at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City, New York.

The first new match announced was a ROH World Championship match of Matt Cardona vs. Chris Jericho (c).

This match was setup after Matt Cardona made a surprise appearance and accepted Jericho’s open challenge for the ROH World Championship at Final Battle 2024.

The second new match announced was a ROH World Tag Team Championship Texas Bull Rope match of The Righteous (Dutch & Vincent) vs. Dustin Rhodes & Sammy Guevara (c).

This match was setup following recent weeks shows involving the bad blood issues between both teams over Dutch claiming that that Dusty Rhodes considered him to be a son and his favorite and also claimed to own the Dusty’s real cowbell.
