Stokely Hathaway Makes Surprise Return & Joins FTR as Their New Agent

Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite show at the Lakefront Arena in New Orleans, Louisiana featured Stokely Hathaway making a surprise return.

During the show, Tony Shiavone was in the ring and prepared to call out FTR. This led to Hathaway coming out to interrupt and introduced as “Big Stoke” and the “living legends” FTR.

All three went down to the ring and Hathaway talked about all of the crimes being committed by people in AEW including Swerve Strickland, Hangman Adam Page, and Jon Moxley. Hathaway talked about how those people were left unpunished while FTR got suspended for touching Tony Schiavone. Hathaway then stated that he promises he will have the suspension against FTR expunged from their permanent record and the fine reimbursed to them. Hathaway stated that any questions for FTR will now go through their new agent, which he revealed to be himself.

This led to Cash Wheeler speaking next and talked about their recent actions towards Daniel Garcia. Dax Harwood talked next and after some words, he called out the Rock ‘n’ Roll Express’ Ricky Morton and Robert Gibson to the ring, which they did. After some insults-filled words by Harwood directed at the Rock ‘n’ Roll Express, Morton got upset leading to a confrontation and then an ambush attack caused by Hathaway that ended with FTR laying out Morton and Gibson.

This was Hathaway’s first appearance since this past September.
