Steve Austin Comments on Not Being Interested in Wrestling Another Match Again
A recent episode of The Pat McAfee Show featured WWE Hall of Famer Stone Cold Steve Austin as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Austin’s thoughts about him having no plans for having another potential match.
“No, I don’t think about anything like that. I’ve kind of moved on down the road. Don’t get me wrong, the competitive side of me, which kind of transfers into the racing that I’m doing now that you spoke of, I want to be the best at everything that I do.
You still go back and you watch these guys and the gals in the ring in the WWE, and you think, “Hey, man, I could have gave Kevin Owens a little bit more than what I had.” And sometimes you think about it.
But, hey, man, I think the time right now for the people in the ring, it’s for the younger generation. It’s for the young men and women that are out there on the road. I leave it to them. And they’ve taken it to a great place. The business has grown to something that I never would have imagined.”

Triple H on Being “Surprised” Over His Hall of Fame Induction Announcement
A recent episode of The Pat McAfee Show also featured WWE CCO Paul “Triple H” Levesque as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Levesque’s thoughts about his reaction to being told he would be getting inducted into WWE’s Hall of Fame as a solo act.
“Yeah, clearly I’ve accepted it. When they surprised me with it, and Shawn and Taker walked out on stage, honestly, I thought I just didn’t read the format sheet for the town hall we were doing.
I thought, like, “Shawn’s coming out here to promote something, and I didn’t see it on the sheet. Like, I’ve got to start paying more attention to this.” Yeah, it’s an incredible honor. It was an incredible honor to be told by those two.
You know, as we had talked about Hall of Fame, I did not want to do it. We had other plans, and then Nick [Khan] took things into his own hands, and he’s the president, so what can I do?”
