Dominik Mysterio Wins IC Title at WrestleMania 41

Sunday’s WWE WrestleMania 41 Night 2 event at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada featured also featured “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio defeating Finn Balor, Penta, and Bron Breakker to become the new WWE Intercontinental Champion.

Mysterio pinned Balor after Balor hit a Coup De Grace to Breakker for a near fall that was broken up by Mysterio hitting a Frog Splash to break it up and covered Balor for the title victory.

This was Mysterio’s first Intercontinental title victory of his WWE career and his first singles championship victory of his WWE main roster career.

Joe Hendry Makes Surprise Appearance as Randy Orton’s Mystery Opponent

Sunday’s WWE WrestleMania 41 Night 2 event also featured current TNA World Champion Joe Hendry making a surprise return appearance to WWE and being revealed as the mystery opponent for Randy Orton’s Open Challenge match.

Becky Lynch Makes Surprise Return & Revealed as Lyra Valkyria’s Mystery Tag Partner

Sunday’s WWE WrestleMania 41 Night 2 event also featured Becky Lynch making her surprise return to WWE.

Prior to the start of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship match, the champions Judgement Day’s Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez came out first and were followed by Valkyria. After some pause, Lynch’s music played and she came out revealing her as Valkyria’s mystery tag team partner for the match.

Lynch replaced Bayley who was taken out the day before during the Countdown to WrestleMania 41 Night 1 pre-show after being the victim of an unseen attack by mystery attacker(s).

This was Lynch’s first appearance since June of 2024 due to her being on a break from both WWE and wrestling.

Sunday’s WWE WrestleMania 41 Night 2 event also featured Lyra Valkyria & Becky Lynch defeating Judgement Day (Raquel Rodriguez & Liv Morgan) to become the new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions.

WrestleMania 41 Night 2 Attendance Announced

Sunday’s WWE WrestleMania 41 Night 2 event also featured WWE Hall of Famer Stone Cold Steve Austin announcing that the official attendance for the show was 63,262.

Austin also announced that the official two-day attendance total for WrestleMania 41 was 124,693.
