Spitfire Announces They Will Disband If They Fail to Win TNA Knockouts Tag Titles at TNA Under Siege 2025

TNA Wrestling recently announced one new stipulation for the TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Championship match at Under Siege 2025, which takes place on May 23rd at the CAA Centre in Brampton, Ontario, Canada.

This new stipulation was if Spitfire (Jody Threat & Dani Luna) fail to win the TNA Knockouts World Tag Team from Heather & As By Elegance at the event, then they will officially disband as a team.

Trick Williams Appearance & One New Match Announced for Thursday’s TNA Impact! Show

TNA Wrestling recently announced one new match and one new segment for the card of this Thursday’s TNA Impact! show on AXS TV and Sportsnet 360.

In regards to the new match, this was announced to be a singles match of Eddie Edwards vs. mystery opponent.

In regards to the new segment, this was announced to be WWE NXT talent Trick Williams making an appearance on the show. It was announced that Williams will be on guest commentary for the tag team match between TNA World Champion Joe Hendry & Elijah and The System.

New Japan Pro Wrestling Hiroshi Tanahashi recently released a new book titled “Hiroshi Tanahashi Becomes President: The Future of New Japan Pro-Wrestling as Envisioned by President Ace.” This new book was stated to feature behind-the-scenes details of Tanahashi’s appointment as NJPW President, what his daily life consists of as both talent and management for NJPW, his excitement for global expansion for NJPW, and his plans for his post-in-ring wrestling career.

NJPW recently announced that El Desperado will be wrestling Jun Kasai in a singles match for one final time in their wrestling careers at a yet to be named event on June 24th in Japan.

The History Channel recently released a new trailer for their upcoming new television series called Hazardous History with Henry Winkler. This new series is stated to feature things that were allowed culturally in the past that aren’t anymore. In regards to wrestling history, the trailer featured a mention and clip of real life bears being involved in professional wrestling.

Westside Xtreme Wrestling recently announced that Mike D Vecchio has vacated his wXw European Championship due to a persistent knee injury that Vecchio has been dealing with since late last year.

The Los Angeles Dodgers held a Mexican Heritage Night celebration prior to the start of their baseball game against the Los Angeles Angels on Tuesday at their Dodgers Stadium in Los Angeles, California. This celebration event featured several lucha libre wrestling matches being held in a ring on the field.

In a recent interview with the #B4theBell podcast, TNA commentator Tom Hannifan gave his thoughts about Deonna Purrazzo and Steve Maclin being the ones to open the door for him to join TNA. Hannifan stated “So Steve Maclin and Deonna Purrazzo are two very close friends of mine. Steve Maclin and I have known each other since the NXT days and he was already in IMPACT as Deonna was at the time and I think it was like December of that year and they were like, ‘Hey, I think they’re gonna make a change. It sounds like they’re moving on from Striker and they might need a new play-by-play guy. Do you want us to introduce you?’ So, thankfully, they opened the door. I had a great conversation with Josh Mathews who I worked with once upon a time. He did my audition in WWE.
