TNA Introduces New All-Star Awards Tradition Starting at Under Siege 2025

TNA Wrestling announced that they have started a new company tradition called the All-Star Award that will be presented at every event going forward starting with Friday’s Under Siege 2025 event in Brampton, Ontario, Canada.

It was announced that this new award will honor achievements with the company and will be open to both talents and those working behind-the-scenes.

It was also announced that the inaugural recipient of this new award was KC Navarro.

Billie Starkz Announced for ROH Women’s Pure Title Tournament

Friday’s ROH TV show for Ring of Honor on HonorClub and YouTube featured current ROH Women’s World Champion Athena officially declaring Billie Starkz for the upcoming ROH Women’s Pure Championship tournament.

Friday’s Under Siege 2025 event for TNA Wrestling in Brampton, Ontario, Canada featured TNA airing a tribute video honoring the life and legacy of the late Sabu.

Friday’s TNA Under Siege 2025 event also featured Santino Marella & Arianna Grace issuing a challenge to Robert Stone & Tessa Blanchard for a tag team match at next week’s TNA Impact! show on May 29th.

TNA announced that they will be airing a free replay of their Under Siege 2025 event at 5PM EST on their YouTube, Twitch, and Facebook channels.

The International Pro Wrestling Hall of Fame recently announced that Tony Tito Santana will be getting inducted into their Hall of Fame as part of this year’s class of inductees. This year’s class currently features Santana, Tony Atlas, Rocky Johnson, and Trish Stratus.

Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling recently announced that Ace Austin will be making his official debut appearance for the company at their Resurrection event on July 5th in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling reportedly drew an attendance of 2,320 for their May 10th Northern Rising event in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

This past Tuesday’s Martes de Glamour event for CMLL in Guadalajara, Mexico featured Furia Roja, Guerrero de la Muerte, & Ráfaga defeating Difunto, Crixus, & Raider to become the new CMLL Occidental Trios Champions.

As noted before, former WWE, WCW, and ECW wrestler 2 Cold Scorpio, real name Charles Scaggs, was arrested in June of 2024 over a stabbing incident in Kansas City, Missouri. PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that Scaggs’ trial date has been pushed back from its originally scheduled date of June 21st to a new date of November 3rd based on recent court records.

In a recent interview with WrestleZone, indie wrestler Brooke Havoc stated that she is currently working with Downstait for the production of a new entrance theme song for her to use for her wrestling career. Havoc stated “I have something in the works right now. It’s actually a goal that I’ve had for a while, which was having a custom theme, and I feel like these are the perfect people to have do it. And I met them at Hammerstein Ballroom, actually. So Downstait is working on it, and I’ve heard some of it, and I’m so excited. We talked for a while, and I gave them so many ideas that I’ve had and wanted, and they are absolutely killing it, like I could not be more happy with what’s coming. I’m so excited for once it’s released,” she said. “I get to share it with everyone, but they’re really, like, the coolest dudes in the world. I have loved their music and, obviously, they made Cody’s theme, and I would randomly tag them when I would do workouts and stuff, I’m like, ‘Oh, listening to Downstait,’ or whatever. So I think they started seeing that, and they would retweet or whatever. But I still didn’t think they, like, really knew me. Then, they were at the Hammerstein, like, because they were doing Matt Cardona’s live entrance. I got to meet them and they were like, ‘Brooke!’ I was like, ‘Oh, shoot, y’all know who I am.’ It’s pretty funny. They were just the sweetest people in the world, and it was cool to see them live and talk to them there. Then, a little bit after that, we were just talking, and they’re like, ‘Would you ever be interested in a custom theme?’ I was like, ‘Of course, hell yeah, I would.’ We started working from there. They were, like, so quick with it, and super excited about it. I was insanely excited. So it’s going to be so much fun once everyone gets to hear the custom theme.” (Transcript h/t: Fightful.com)
