Vince McMahon Sex Trafficking Lawsuit Update – Dr. Carlon Colker Files Defamation Lawsuit Against Janel Grant’s Attorney

As noted before, former WWE employee Janel Grant filed a lawsuit in January of 2024 against former TKO Executive Chairman Vince McMahon accusing McMahon of committing sex trafficking and sexual abuse towards her during her time in the company. Besides McMahon, WWE and former WWE Head of Talent Relations John Laurinaitis were also named defendants in the lawsuit. Grant filed a new amended lawsuit this past February detailing new evidence and claims against McMahon, Laurinaitis, WWE, and others. Prior to her new amended lawsuit, Grant’s lawyers had filed petition against a WWE Wellness doctor named Carlon Colker and his clinic this past July for medical records related to her lawsuit.

PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that Colker and Peak Wellness Inc. filed a defamation lawsuit on May 2nd before The United States District Court of Connecticut against Janel Grant’s lawyer Ann Callis and the Holland Law Firm. Colker is claiming that Callis and the Holland Law Firm had made false public statements linking Colker to unethical medical practices in connection with Grant’s lawsuit against WWE, McMahon, and Laurinaitis.

In the filing, Colker claimed that Callis’ statements through a press release and YouTube conference caused reputational and financial harm towards him. Colker also claimed that the defamatory remarks were made outside of legal proceedings and thus would not be protected by litigation privileged.

Colker’s lawsuit reportedly also stated that a patient, presumed to be Grant, was seen at “least” 60 times and “actively participated in her treatment decisions and was consistently provided with comprehensive explanations of each treatment, including its purpose, ingredients, expected outcomes, and detailed instructions for all supplements and medications.”

Colker’s lawsuit also stated:

“As evidenced in the Medical Records:

-At no point was Patient forced to undergo intravenous infusions.

– At no point was Patient ever administered or directed to take unknown substances by way of intravenous route, orally, or otherwise.

-At no point was Patient directed to take unlabeled drugs.

-At no point did Dr. Colker personally administer any injections to Patient.

-At no point did Patient report experiencing any adverse effects related to her treatments.”

The lawsuit also claims that the patient stopped her care with Colker in April of 2022 “without any indication of dissatisfaction or concern regarding the care she received.”

Colker is also claiming that any and all medical records requested by Callis and her legal team were delivered as requested even despite the public allegations that they were being withheld.

Colker is currently seeking compensatory and punitive damages over their claims of defamation being committed by Callis.

Colker also claimed that Holland Law Firm failed to supervise and prevent Callis’ actions.

Johnson reported that the defendants have yet to be served with this lawsuit.
