In regards to Morgan’s return to WWE, it was reported that it is currently not known exactly when Morgan will be returning to WWE television but the expectation is that she will miss at least one more WWE RAW show.

Despite her absence, Morgan’s time away from WWE won’t be an extended one. Sources indicate that filming is scheduled to wrap on May 16, and she’s slated to return to the U.S. the following day. Update on WWE’s Acquisition of AAA – Several AAA Talents Reportedly Signed to WWE Contracts

As noted before, WWE announced this past April that they have officially acquired Lucha Libre AAA.

Superluchas’ Ernesto Ocampo reported that his sources stated that eight AAA talents recently signed official contract with WWE.

Ocampo reported that the AAA talents signed to WWE deals are Alberto El Patron (former Alberto Del Rio in WWE), Hijo de Dr. Wagner, Hijo del Vikingo, La Parka, La Hiedra, Lady Flammer, Lady Maravilla, and Niño Hamburguesa.

In response to recent comments from LuchaBlog about Alberto El Patron’s contrast situation with WWE, Ocampo stated that AAA contracts are a joke and any lawyer could invalidate them. Ocampo also stated that WWE’s contracts to AAA talents include many clauses that AAA’s deals don’t account for. LuchaBlog stated “to my knowledge, WWE did not “give” Alberto a contract. AAA signed Alberto to a contract when they decided to build the promotion around him for the last year, and WWE will assume that contract when they take over the company. I don’t think decisions have been made past that.” Ocampo responded back stating “The AAA contracts are a joke. Any lawyer could invalidate them. WWE is offering contracts backed by TKO and including many clauses that AAA’s don’t account for. Their idea is to sign only around 10 to 12 wrestlers from AAA’s current roster. Obviously, this doesn’t mean all of them will wrestle in U.S. shows. It would be difficult for La Hiedra to appear at the same event as Stephanie Vaquer.”

The Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer reported that his sources confirmed that Alberto has been signed to an official contract with WWE. In a follow-up report, Meltzer reported that he does not expect Alberto to show up on WWE television and these deals for AAA talents are for AAA events instead.

WWE RAW brand backstage interviewer Jackie Redmond recently stated on Instagram that the reason why she was absent from this past Monday’s WWE RAW show in Omaha, Nebraska was due to travel issues over her 2025 NHL Playoffs broadcast commitments this past Sunday in Winnipeg, Canada. Redmond statedMy original plan was to take a red-eye last night/this morning, into Omaha. Didn’t work out that way for a couple of reasons. Actually had to take myself off of RAW for another reason that I won’t get into. The game was crazy, as you know, and went to double overtime, so I would’ve missed my flights anyways and WWE would have gotten a last minute, ‘Hey, I can’t make it.’ It all works out sometimes, but here we are. I won’t be there. Single tear. I’m so sorry. I’ll be watching from home.” In a follow-up statement on Twitter, Redmond provided an update stating that another reason was due to her needing a rest break due to her hectic work schedule of late. Redmond statedFor those in my mentions not understanding why I wasn’t on RAW last night. This was my round one of NHL playoffs: 12 days 14 flights 🤯 6 hockey games RAW in-between *since the WWE euro tour 6 weeks ago, I have spent just 6 full days at home. lol. Ya girl needed a break.
