WWE officials reportedly have warned fans to stop swearing during their NXT events, according to Fightful Select.
It was reported that their sources stated stated that WWE had ask their fans to not swear at their events over this past weekend in Tampa, Florida.
This reportedly is not something new and instead NXT crowds at the Performance Center have been asked to not do this during NXT shows before. Those who have continued swearing during shows reportedly have been warned with possible removal from television tapings as a punishment.
It was also reported that they have not heard of any incident at the Performance Center involving fans swearing that went past a warning.
Dave Meltzer reported in a recent episode of the Wrestling Observer Radio that his sources stated that those within WWE have suggested of making an announcement before shows to the live crowd. Meltzer reported that this would just be a simple announcement informing the crowd “Hey, we’re here. It’s a TV show. It’s going all over the world. We want you to have fun, don’t swear because it’s going to ruin the TV show.”
