Bronson Reed Makes Surprise Return & Joins Seth Rollins’ Group

Saturday’s WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event show at the Yuengling Center in Tampa, Florida featured Bronson Reed making his surprise return.

Near the end of the tag team match between Seth Rollins & Bron Breakker and CM Punk & Sami Zayn, Paul Heyman interfered leading to the referee and Zayn being distracted. This led to Reed running out and smashed Punk through a ringside barricade. This then led to Zayn being surprised over what just happened and got distracted long enough for Breakker to hit a Super Spear to Zayn for the pinfall victory.

Following the match, Reed got into the ring and confronted Rollins, Breakker, and Heyman. After an intense standoff between Reed and Breakker, Rollins walked up to Reed and gave him a hug revealing him as the newest member of his group.

Punk got back into the ring and attempted to grab Heyman only to get attacked by Reed who proceeded to lay out Punk with a running senton and a Tsunami. Seth’s group then posed over Punk’s fallen body in the ring.

This was Reed’s first appearance since this past November due to a broken foot injury and surgery.

Saturday’s WWE Saturday’s Night Main Event show also featured several WWE Hall of Famers being shown in attendance.

Prior to the start of the John Cena vs. R-Truth match, WWE Hall of Famers Jimmy Hart and Bushwhacker Luke were shown in attendance in the front row.

Prior to the start of the Steel Cage match of Drew McIntyre vs. Damian Priest, Leilani Kai and Tatanka were shown in attendance in the front row.

Prior to the start of the WWE World Heavyweight Championship match between Logan Paul and Jey Uso, the US Express’ Mike Rotunda & Barry Windham were shown in attendance in the front show.

El Hijo del Vikingo vs. Chad Gable Announced for Worlds Collide 2025

Saturday’s WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event show also featured one new match announced for the card of NXT x AAA Worlds Collide 2025, which takes place on June 7th at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles, California.

This new match announced was a singles match of El Hijo del Vikingo vs. Chad Gable.

Cody Rhodes Makes Surprise Returns & Issues Challenge to John Cena & Logan Paul for Money in the Bank 2025

Saturday’s WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event show also featured Cody Rhodes making his surprise return.

During the show, Undisputed WWE Champion John Cena confronted WWE World Heavyweight Champion Jey Uso backstage and talked about how it would be a nice thing for Uso to lose his title to Logan Paul since that would ruin wrestling.

Near the end of the WWE World Heavyweight title match between Paul and Uso, Cena ran out and pulled the referee out of the ring before he could count the pinfall for Uso. This led to Cena attacking Uso that was interrupted by Rhodes’ music playing and him running out to save Uso and helped clear the ring of Cena and Paul.

Rhodes then grabbed a microphone and yelled at Cena saying that he has ruined enough and he is back and ready to fight. Rhodes stated that Cena has a partner in Logan Paul and he got himself a brother in the the World Heavyweight Champion. Rhodes then issued a challenge for a tag team match between them at Money in the Bank 2025.

This was Rhodes’ first appearance since this past April’s WrestleMania 40 event.
