Jamie Hayter reportedly has not been medically cleared to resume in-ring wrestling, according to Fightful Select.
It was reported that their sources stated that Hayter was not in attendance at this past Wednesday’s AEW Summer Blockbuster show in Portland, Oregon.
While Hayter initially was feeling okay after her match against Mercedes Mone at this past May’s Double or Nothing 2025 event, those spoken to within AEW stated that she has not been medically cleared to return to the ring. Hayter’s match against Mone was notable for Hayter taking a hard bump on her head following Mone’s roll-up pinfall for the finish to the match.
Those same sources reportedly also stated that if Hayter were available, she would have likely been booked for this past Wednesday’s show.
It was reported that AEW officials had to get creative with their plans for Thekla’s official debut involving Hayter which was the reason for why the lights went out during the segment and Thekla’s attack on Hayter not being shown.
It was also reported that a potential timetable for Hayter’s return to the ring is currently not known.
