Sami Zayn Advances in 2025 King of the Ring Tournament

Monday’s WWE RAW show at the PHX Arena in Phoenix, Arizona featured the official start and one tournament match for this year’s King of the Ring Tournament.

This was Sami Zayn defeating Dominik Mysterio, Bron Breakker, and Penta in a Fatal Four-way match.

As a result of his victory, Zayn advances to the Semifinal Round of this year’s King of the Ring tournament.

Roxanne Perez Advances in 2025 Queen of the Ring Tournament

Monday’s WWE RAW show also featured the official start and one tournament match for this year’s Queen of the Ring Tournament.

This was Roxanne Perez defeating Kairi Sane, Liv Morgan, and Rhea Ripley in a Fatal Four-way match.

As a result of her victory, Perez advances to the Semifinal Round of this year’s Queen of the Ring tournament.

Full Brackets Revealed for 2025 King & Queen of the Ring Tournaments

Monday’s WWE RAW show also featured the full brackets being officially revealed for this year’s King and Queen of the Ring tournaments.

In regards to the King of the Ring tournament, it was announced that one of the competitors will be a mystery person.

  • Randy Orton vs. LA Knight vs. Aleister Black vs. Carmelo Hayes

Wade Barrett Fills in for Pat McAfee for RAW Commentary Team

Monday’s WWE RAW show also featured SmackDown brand commentator Wade Barrett filling in for Pat McAfee.

During the show, Michael Cole welcomed Barrett who was seated next to him and stated that Barrett would be filling for McAfee tonight due to McAfee having the night off.

Bayley Makes Surprise Return on Monday’s WWE RAW Show

Monday’s WWE RAW show also featured Bayley making her surprise return from “injury.”

During the show, new WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch came out to the ring and after some rambling, she called out Lyra Valkyria over some unfinished business and her issues with her claims that Valkyria was too aggressive and wanted to kill her for the arm raise moment after her title win. This led to Valkyria coming out but before anything else could happen, Bayley ran out from the crowd and attacked Lynch. This led to Lynch trying to escape only for Valkyria to grab Lynch on the outside and tossed her back into the ring. Bayley setup a Rose Plant to lynch only for Lynch to escape again and this time to safety through the crowd.

This was Bayley’s first appearance since this past April’s WrestleMania 41 Night 1 pre-show due to her suffering a storyline injury at the hands of Lynch.

R-Truth Declares He’s Ron Killings & End of R-Truth Character on Monday’s WWE RAW Show

Monday’s WWE RAW show also featured R-Truth declaring that he is now Ron Killings and the R-Truth everyone knew before is done.

During the show, a mystery hooded person came out through the crowd while Wade Barrett and Michael Cole was talking. This person stood on the announcer’s table and took over his hood revealing himself to be R-Truth. Truth then talked about his thanks for the fans for being the reason why he is back and how nobody can ever tell them that their voices don’t matter. Truth then talked about him changing and no longer being the funny, nice, and forgiving guy he was before. Truth then talked about how he is not a “sideshow act” or a “gimmick” and instead the Truth will set him free. Truth then pulled out scissors from his pocket and proceeded to cut off his braids. Truth stated that the real truth emerged and he is now Ron Killings.

Gunther Wins WWE World Title on Monday’s WWE RAW Show

Monday’s WWE RAW show also featured Gunther defeating Jey Uso to become the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion.

This was Gunther’s second WWE World Heavyweight Championship victory in his WWE career.

Current Card for Next Week’s WWE RAW Show

Monday’s WWE RAW show also featured two new matches announced for the card of next week’s show on June 16th at the Resch Center in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

These new matches were setup following match card graphics shown throughout the show.

Besides the new matches, it was also announced that Asuka will be making her return from injury at next week’s show and competing in a Queen of the Ring tournament match.
