Hangman Page Promo Segment Announced for Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite Show
AEW CEO Tony Khan announced one new segment for the card of Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite show at the Byline Bank Aragon Ballroom in Chicago, Illinois.
This new segment announced was a promo segment featuring AEW World Champion Hangman Adam Page. It was also announced that Page’s promo segment will be opening the show.

Backstage Update on Reason for Samoa Joe Injury Angle at AEW All In Texas
This past Saturday’s AEW All In Texas event featured Samoa Joe being involved in an injury angle at the hands of the Death Riders.
Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that the reason for the injury angle was AEW officials way to temporarily write off Joe from AEW television due to him currently expected to miss some time due to other obligations.
Joe reportedly was scheduled to have some time off after the event to do promotional work for the upcoming second season of Peacock’s Twisted Metal series.
It was reported that it is currently not known how much time Joe is going to miss but it is expected to be at least two weeks.
AEW News & Notes
Kamille filed a trademark for “The Cat 5” on July 15th for wrestling and entertainment-related purposes to the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
AEW filed a new trademark for “All Elite Feast” on July 14th for cookware, dining, and merchandise-related purposes to the USPTO.
AEW also announced that they have recently signed a partnership deal with MAJOR for the release of new AEW branded Big Rubber Guys figurines.
AEW also recently released the full video of Adam Cole’s speech at this past Saturday’s All In Texas event.
ITV Sport recently announced that they will be airing the entire All In Texas event on their ITV 4 channel for free on Thursday, July 17th in the United Kingdom.
As noted before, Adam “Cope” Copeland made his surprise return and teased a future reunion with Christian Cage at this past Saturday’s AEW All In Texas event in Arlington, Texas. Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp reported in a recent Q&A article that his sources stated that the current belief is that AEW officials have plans for Cope and Cage to reunite and face off against FTR at this September’s All Out 2025 event in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that AEW officials were very secretive about the plans for the finishes to several matches for their All In Texas event. This secrecy reportedly included several matches having alternate endings planned with many being crafted by the talent themselves. These matches reportedly did not include the “Timeless” Toni Storm vs. Mercedes Mone or the Hangman Adam Page vs. John Moxley matches due to both had their plans and finishes finalized well in advance.
Fightful Select also reported that Shotzi Blackheart, Priscilla Kelly, Monty Brown, Joey Janela, and Brian Myers were among the non-AEW names backstage at this past Saturday’s All In Texas event.
As noted before, Wardlow has been absent from AEW over the past year first due to a knee injury and later due to him being involved in the filming of the American Gladiators reboot series. Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that Wardlow was in town for AEW’s All In Texas event but did not arrive backstage until after the show had already begun.
