WWE reportedly currently has plans for musician Jelly Roll to compete in a match at this August’s SummerSlam 2025 event in East Rutherford, New Jersey, according to PWInsider.
Mike Johnson reported that his sources stated that Jelly Roll has been training to make his WWE in-ring debut at SummerSlam.
Johnson reported that Jelly Roll’s scheduled appearance at this Friday’s WWE SmackDown show in Nashville, Tennessee is currently expected to kick off his storyline feud for SummerSlam. This program reportedly will feature Jelly Roll teaming up with a top babyface star.
Johnson also reported that he has yet to confirm who this babyface star is but when asked, he was told it was not Cody Rhodes.
Jelly Roll performed at last year’s SummerSlam event in Cleveland, Ohio and got involved in a physical role with The Miz and R-Truth towards A-Torn Down Under.
