Saturday’s AEW Collision drew 423,000 viewers on TNT, up from the prior week show’s 409,000 viewers. That week’s show was notable for Collision returning to its normal Saturday night timeslot following the prior weel’s show being preempted to a Thursday night timeslot due to TNT and AEW not wanting to compete against WWE’s SummerSlam 2025 event.
It drew a 0.08 rating in the 18-49 demographic, down from the prior week show’s 0.10 rating.
In regards to notable sports competition, the NFL Preseason game of New York Jets vs. Green Bay Packers drew 1,733,000 viewers on NFL Network, the Baseball Night in America game of Chicago Cubs vs. St. Louis Cardinals or Philadelphia Phillies vs. Texas Rangers drew 1,825,000 viewers on FOX, the Banana Ball World Tour game of The Firefighters vs. Savannah Bananas drew 378,000 viewers on ESPN2, the WNBA game of Chicago Sky vs. Indiana Fever drew 1,312,000 viewers on CBS, and UFC Fight Night drew 636,000 viewers on ESPN.
The streaming viewership numbers for the simulcasts on MAX is currently not known.
Last year’s Collision show on August 10, 2024 drew 370,000 viewers and a 0.11 rating.
